VV-35

The Victor Victrola portable model 35 was produced from 1924 to 1926 and was well accepted by the public for its portability and durability. This black fabric covering does not age as well as the more highly desired wood cased model 50. This model had the 10" turntable and the Victrola #2 reproducer designed for acoustic records. Later Victrola portable models included reproducers designed for electrically recorded orthophonic records.

This machine was found in a local antique mall and required just a little repair and lubrication. The outer case was waxed and is in very good condition. The metal works are all bright and shiny.

This machine is surprisingly loud.
